HIGH ARTS ATELIER is an art school dedicated to the study, teaching, and exploration of painting, academic drawing, and narrative illustration, with the aim of providing aspiring artists with a solid, comprehensive, and rigorous education in figurative art, realism, and contemporary illustration.
Our programs explore the traditional techniques of academic drawing, classical and Renaissance painting, together with the creative, compositional, and narrative principles of illustration. Through a balance of theoretical knowledge, technical training, and consistent practical work, students develop the skills necessary to approach both classical and contemporary forms of artistic expression.
The teaching methodology of our Academic Drawing and Figurative Painting courses is rooted in the tradition of the Russian Academic Method of drawing and painting, enriched by the legacy of the great European academies of the 18th century, whose educational principles were founded on comprehensive and disciplined artistic training. This approach enables students to develop strong technical foundations, professional competence, expressive independence, and a profound understanding of the human figure. Particular emphasis is placed on structure, proportion, anatomy, volume, light, and composition, allowing students to progress toward the creation of complex, balanced, and harmonious works.
HIGH ARTS ATELIER offers in-depth and versatile programs devoted to the study of classical artistic techniques, designed to accompany each student in the development of a personal, authentic, and conscious artistic language. By combining the discipline of the classical tradition with openness to contemporary artistic research, the Atelier provides a broad foundation for diverse creative paths across classical art, contemporary figuration, and artistic illustration.
